COMPANY DESCRIPTION

OM Network Consulting is a sole proprietorship located on Alameda Island. I provide IT services to individuals and small businesses with between 2 - 200 employees.

I design, plan, install, maintain, audit and troubleshoot small Local Area Networks. No problem is too small or too large. On many occasions, I have made home visits to service personal computers and home-based businesses.

Larger corporations may be handled though the associated business Chouinard and Myhre, Inc., a long standing Premier IBM Partner, with extensive experience in handling enterprise-scale IT solutions.

I have been supplying the needs of small to medium-sized businesses throughout California for about 15 years through CSI, Techframeworks, Renaissance Worldwide and others and now I have branched out on my own to attend to local businesses that require technical assistance on a project and/or ongoing basis.

MISSION

I operate informally, without suits and ties, as I feel that good work done with attention to detail is better than flashy marketing.

I do not "talk down" to clients and I believe in informing clients without needless jargon and confusing verbiage as to available options. I inform all clients as to the nature of the work performed at each session. My desire is to stabilize the network such that the finished product can be handed over entirely to the customer with no need of protracted hourly costs.

No work is begun without an agreementin place stating exactly what is to be done, where responsibilities reside, how many hours will be employed, and what the criteria for completion happen to be for each phase.

Telephone support is provided as well as emergency response.
